To prevent hazards due to the improper
handling of the components and func-
tions of the electric drive:
• If possible, remove the battery before
working on or transporting the e-bike.
• Do not alter or tamper with the electric
drive.
• Always have damage to the electric drive
repaired by your FLYER specialist dealer
and always replace damaged compo-
nents with suitable original spare parts.
• Only use the pushing aid to push the
e-bike. The e-bike must be held securely
with both hands and the wheels must be
in contact with the ground.
To prevent explosion and fire hazards
with rechargeable batteries:
• Keep batteries away from open flames
and other heat sources.
• Do not store batteries together with metal
objects (e.g. screws, coins, etc.). There is
a risk of a short circuit!
• Do not damage or modify batteries.
• Never attempt to open a battery.
• Have the battery checked by a FLYER
specialist dealer if you have fallen while
operating the e-bike or the battery has
fallen out.
To prevent burns in the event of contact
with leaking battery fluid:
• Only touch a damaged battery with pro-
tective gloves.
• If you have had contact with battery acid,
rinse the affected area immediately with
clean water and, if in doubt, consult a
doctor.
If battery fluid has entered the eye, consult
a doctor as soon as possible in any case.
• Behave as follows when a battery is on
fire: Immediately move to a safe distance,
shield the fire area if possible, call fire
department. Do not attempt to extinguish
the burning battery yourself with water!
To prevent damage due to improper use:
• Adhere to the permissible total weight of
the e-bike. The permissible total weight
may not be exceeded!
• Be sure to maintain the correct tire infla-
tion pressure.
• Do not ride through deep water if this is not
permissible according to the intended use.

when riding an e-bike despite observing the
safety and warning instructions.
These risks include:
• Unforeseen cycling maneuvers and mis-
behavior by other road users.
• Changes in road characteristics that
come as a surprise to you, such as black
ice or freezing wet conditions.
• Material defects or wear not foreseeable
by the manufacturer, which can lead to
breakage or functional impairment of a
component.
