Function lockout
You can disable the access to the setup functions of the
instrument in order to prevent, for example, any acci
-
dental changes to settings. The functions are then no
longer displayed on the screen.
When the access to the functions is disabled, you can
exclude individual functions from the lockout and make
them visible. These functions are then selectable and
can be changed or set in spite of the general lockout.
Disabling all setup functions
– In the function group CONFIG, select the function
MENU
MODE.
– Choose the option INSPECTOR in order to disable
the access to all setup functions.
– Choose the option EXPERT in order to enable the ac-
cess to all setup functions.
– Check whether the functions are visible or not ac-
cording to the selected setting.
