In addition to mLOM Ethernet adapters, the server also supports PCIe Ethernet adapters (see "PCIe
Ethernet adapters").
By default, port 1 on an mLOM Ethernet adapter acts as an HDM shared network port.

Riser cards
To expand the server with PCIe modules, install riser cards on the PCIe riser connectors or in riser
bays.
The PCIe slots in a riser card are numbered differently depending on the riser card model and the
PCIe riser connector or bay that holds the riser card.
