sor over the desired Wind
identifier.
5. ENTER Key - DEPRESS.
If the desired identifier is
enclosed in parentheses,
pressing the ENTER Key will
cause it to blink, indicating no weather information is available for that
identifier.
If no identifiers are displayed, they may be inserted by pressing the
Line Select Key, which will create a cursor over the first blank identifi-
er position. INSERT an identifier. (Usually a VOR or intersection)
6. ENTER Key - DEPRESS
7. Line Select Key - DEPRESS to position cursor over TRANSMIT
REQUEST?
8. ENTER Key - DEPRESS.
Identifiers listed on this
page will be transmitted to
the ground via the data link.
NOTE: Wait for DATA CENTER
AK message if sending multiple
requests.
9. If there are identifiers, upon
depressing the ENTER Key,
the WINDS ALOFT Data
Pages pertaining to the
selected identifier appear.

11. Press Line Select Key to position the cursor over the identifier
field.
12. IDENTIFIER - INSERT. The data text fields will go blank.
