allows the operator to select
AFIS TERMINAL WEATHER,
AFIS WINDS ALOFT or AFIS
SIGMETS pages. See Figure
8-7. See Section 7 for a
detailed discussion of these
pages.

DISPATCH MENU PAGE
This page allows the operator
to request various information
via the data link. See Figure 8-
8.

NEED RELEASE: Select to
request release if needed.
Request is sent to a station
printer. An asterisk indicates
the item is selected.
NEED FLIGHT PLAN: Select if a flight plan needs to be refiled. An
asterisk indicates the item is selected.
MANUAL RELEASE: Select if manual release is needed. The
release will be sent to the AFIS display. An asterisk indicates the
item is selected.
AMEND RELEASE: Select if release needs to be amended. An
asterisk indicates the item is selected.
AIRPORT ANALYSIS: Selecting this item will result in the AIRPORT
ANALYSIS Page being displayed.
Two lines of free text can be entered with a maximum of 20
alpha/numeric characters for each line. This field is available if
AMEND RELEASE has be marked with an asterisk.
