WGT/BAL: This accesses the
Weight and Balance Page
which allows operator to enter,
review, modify and transmit,
via data link, weight and bal-
ance information. The display
varies depending upon aircraft
type: J41 or J32. See Figure
8-2.
STATION: The STATION
MENU Page is accessed here.
This page allows operator to enter, review, modify and transmit, via
data link, services requested at the destination. The display varies
depending upon aircraft type: J41 or J32
WEATHER: Selecting this prompt accesses a WEATHER menu
page. The Weather menu page provides Terminal Weather, Winds
Aloft and Sigmet information access.
DISPATCH: This selects the DISPATCH Page which allows opera-
tor to request various information via the data link.
INITIALIZE: Accessing the INITIALIZE page allows the operator to
enter, review, modify, and transmit information related to the flight via
the data link.
DVT/HOLD: Selecting the Divert/Hold Page allows the operator to
enter, review, modify and transmit information related to a divert or
hold situation via the data link.
CLOSE OUT: Accessing the CLOSE OUT Page allows the operator
to review termination of flight information and to close out the flight.
SEND MSG: The SEND AFIS MSG Page is accessed here. For a
