Information center commands
The device supports the FIPS mode that complies with NIST FIPS 140-2 requirements. Support for
features, commands, and parameters might differ in FIPS mode and non-FIPS mode. For more

diagnostic-logfile save
Use diagnostic-logfile save to manually save diagnostic logs from the diagnostic log file buffer to
the diagnostic log file.

Usage guidelines
You can specify the directory to save the diagnostic log file by using the info-center
diagnostic-logfile directory command.
The system clears the diagnostic log file buffer after saving the buffered diagnostic logs to the
diagnostic log file.
If the diagnostic log file buffer is empty, this command displays a success message event though no
logs are saved to the diagnostic log file.
Examples
# Manually save diagnostic logs from the diagnostic log file buffer to the diagnostic log file.
<Sysname> diagnostic-logfile save
The contents in the diagnostic log file buffer have been saved to the file
flash:/diagfile/diagfile.log.
