6.3.15 addmap
Function
The command addmap is used to add a mapping to a host LUN or a host group.
Format
addmap -gi host group ID | -hi host ID [-hl host LUN] -dl device LUN
Parameters
Keyword and Value Description Default Value
-gi host group ID ID of the host group to which
the LUN mapping is to be
added. The value ranges from
0 to 31.

-hi host ID ID of the host to which the
LUN mapping to be added.
The value ranges from 0 to
255.
None.
-hl host LUN ID ID of a host LUN . The value
ranges from 0 to 511.
None.
-dl device LUN ID ID of a device LUN which is
to be mapped. The value
ranges from 0 to 511.
None.
Modes
Normal mode.
Level
Super administrator level and administrator level.
Usage Guidelines
When using this command, note the following items:
l The command addmap -gi host group ID | -hi host ID -dl device LUN is used to map a
LUN to a host group or host. The system automatically specifies the host LUN ID.
l The command addmap -gi host group ID | -hi host ID -hl host LUN -dl device LUN is used
to map a specified host LUN to a host group or host.
Example
Map the device LUN 0 to the host 0 and set the host LUN ID to 0 .
