Function
The command chgdisktype is used to set the type of a hard disk.
Format
chgdisktype -s subrack ID -sl slot ID -t disk type
Parameters
Keyword and Value
Description Default Value
-s subrack ID The enclosure ID of a hard
disk. The value ranges from 0
to 7.

-sl slot ID The slot ID of a hard disk.
The value ranges from 0 to
11.

-t disk type The disk type. The value can
be 1 or 3.
l 1: Free disks.
l 3: Hot spare disks.
