14.6.1 Clearing IPv6 Multicast Forwarding Entries and Routing
Entries
After you confirm to clear IPv6 multicast forwarding and routing entries, use the reset command
in the user view. After you run the reset command to clear information in the multicast
forwarding table and the multicast routing table, multicast data cannot be normally transmitted.
So, confirm the action before you use the command.

In routine maintenance, you can run the following commands in any view to check the running
status of IPv6 multicast forwarding and routing.
Procedure
l Run the display multicast ipv6 boundary [ ipv6-group-address [ ipv6-group-mask-
length ] ] [ interface interface-type interface-number ] command in any view to check
information about boundaries of all interfaces.
