Why is my handset not working?
Check to ensure that the handset cord is fully connected to both the phone and handset.
Why can't I pair my bluetooth cordless handset to a
different phone?
If your bluetooth cordless handset version is Rev 18 (software version V1009) or a later version, you
cannot pair the bluetooth cordless handset with a different phone unless the handset is set to
factory-default settings. Following is the procedure to set the bluetooth cordless handset to factory
default:
1. Check the bluetooth cordless handset version:
a. Press the Settings icon on the phone and navigate to the Options list.
b. Press the Status icon.
c. Under Firmware Info, check the cordless handset version. If the version is 1009/0005 or a later
version, proceed to set the bluetooth cordless handset to factory default.
2. To set the bluetooth cordless handset to factory default: With the handset powered on:
a. Remove handset from phone cradle.
b. Ensure LED flashes blue at 1-second intervals.
c. Press and hold both Volume keys for approximately 6 seconds until LED flashes quickly once,
then on solid, and then turns off.
