INK PAIR THE MITEL 6940 IP PHONE WITH WINDOWS OR MAC
• Contact your System Administrator for details about enabling Mobile Link functionality on your Mitel
6940 IP Phone.
Pair the Mitel 6940 IP Phone with Windows or MAC
Pair the Mitel 6940 IP Phone with PC on Windows 10
To pair the Mitel 6940 IP phone with PC on Windows 10:
1. Click Windows menu > Settings.
2. Navigate to Devices.
3. Click Bluetooth & other devices in the left sidebar.
4. Set the toggle switch at the top to On.
5. To add the 6940 IP Phone 6940 IP Phone to the list of available devices, click Add Bluetooth or
other device.
6. Select Bluetooth.
7. Ensure that the 6940 IP Phone is in the Available Devices menu. Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth
> Available Devices to enter the Available Devices menu of the IP Phone.
8. Choose the Mitel 6940... from the available list of devices on your PC.
9. A Bluetooth pairing request displays on both the 6940 IP Phone and the PC. Ensure that the pairing
code matches on both devices. Press Yes on the 6940 IP Phone and press Connect on the PC to
pair the phone with the PC.
NOTE:
• You can pair the PC with the 6940 IP Phone only from the PC and not from the 6940 IP Phone. If you
try to initiate pairing from the 6940 IP Phone, the following message appears.
