MFHTP=formula
Mode Follow, High Traverse Point
APPLICATION: Motion control
DESCRIPTION: High traverse point
EXECUTION: Buffered until a G command is issued, or the opposite traverse
point
CONDITIONAL TO: MFR or MSR mode; MFSDC(x,2) mode selected
LIMITATIONS: MFHTP-MFLTP must be in the range 0 to 2147483647
READ/REPORT: RMFHTP
WRITE: Read/write
LANGUAGE ACCESS: Assignment, formulas and conditional testing
UNITS: Slave encoder counts of the motor
RANGE OF VALUES: -2147483648 to 2147483647
TYPICAL VALUES: 0 to 1000000
DEFAULT VALUE: 0
FIRMWARE VERSION: 5.x and later
COMBITRONIC: RMFHTP:3, MFHTP:3=1000
where ":3" is the motor address use the actual address or a
variable
DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
When in absolute traverse mode, MFHTP=formula sets the high traverse point in terms of the
slave motor's position. The value may be anywhere in the range from -2147483648 to
2147483647. However, it should be higher than the low traverse point specified by MFLTP.
NOTE: The distance between MFLTP and MFHTP must be in the range from 0 to
2147483647; MFHTP must be the higher value.
The MFHTP traverse point can be set at any time. However, it is buffered and accepted into
the motion profile when the motion profile reaches the opposite traverse point (MFLTP).
