If not within specification, do Element Continuity Check and
Harness Resistance Checks (page 449).
Element 2 125 A ±30 A
If not within specification, do Element Continuity Check and
Harness Resistance Checks (page 449).
Element Continuity Check (Turn the ignition switch to OFF. Disconnect harness from element post.
Inspect for corrosion.)
Element terminal 1 to gnd
If continuity is not present, check element for carbon
build-up, corrosion, or open circuit.
Element terminal 2 to gnd
If continuity is not present, check element for carbon
build-up, corrosion, or open circuit.
