Crankcase Pressure Test Adapter

The Crankcase Pressure Test Adapter is used to
measure combustion gas flow from the engine
breather and may be used with the magnehelic gauge
or slack tube manometer.
Pressure readings obtained with this adapter must
be used as the main source of engine condition.

the pressure readings are over the specified limits.
Neither changes in oil consumption trends nor
crankcase diagn o s tic pressure t re nds c an es tablish a
specific problem. These changes only indicate that a
problem exists.

quickly identify leaks. The fuel dye combines with
fuel and migrates out at the leak. The ultrav iolet
lamp illu minates t he leaking fu el dye, which a ppears
fluorescent yellow-green in color.
