Group Listening

FEATURE
DESCRIPTION
Group Listening allows the user to press the Speaker key so others in the
room can listen to a conversation over the built-in speaker of a Multiline
Terminal. While Group Listening is active, the Multiline Terminal user can
continue to talk on the handset or headset.

Required Components:
None
OPERATING
PROCEDURES
1. While using the handset/headset, press
P
to activate Group
Listening.
2. Press
P
or go on-hook to end Group Listening.
When MIC LED is on, press
T
and
A
to turn off the LED and mute
Group Listening.
While Group Listening is active, press
N
and
A
to turn off the LED
and mute group Listening.
To activate/deactivate Group Listening:
To mute the handset during Group Listening using Electra Elite
Multiline Terminals (DTP/DTU-( )-( ) TEL):
To mute the handset during Group Listening using Electra
Professional Multiline Terminals (ETW-( )-( ) TEL Version 2):
