16.18.3.1.1 Setting a Global Key for the Transmission
Starting point: The encryptor sends clear data to the decryptor. Both have their encryption mode
set to "Off" or no encryption.
hub site (encryptor) remote site (decryptor)
In this example we activate AES using the Odd Key.
Steps:
On the demodulator site (decryptor):
Prepare the demodulator site to receive an encrypted stream.
1. Enable AES
2. Enable Global Encryption
3. Select the Key Strength
4. Enter the Odd Key.
