2. To perform the zero calibration using an instrument with or without the
Waveform option (see Figure 5-7 on page 57):
a) Place a drop of couplant on the surface of the thin part of the test block.
b) Couple the transducer to the thin part of the test block (see Figure 5-6 on
page 56), and then press [CAL ZERO].
c) Once the thickness reading is stable, press [ENTER].
d) Using the arrow keys, edit the thickness value to match the known thickness
of the thin part of the test block.
