This Y-cable shares the J4 connection with the waste pump and valve L3 on the
valve boards with replaceable valves (902-789), Figure 7-6.

installation
Follow these instructions to install the Y-cable for L3 using Figure 7-6.
Step Action
1.
Disconnect the end of the waste pump cable from J4 of the valve
board, located in the lower left corner of the board.
2.
Connect the female end of the Y-cable to J4 of the valve board in
place of the waste pump cable. Ensure the green wire is on top and the
blue wire is closest to the bottom edge of the board.
3.
Secure the Y-cable midway down the housing standoff with the
Ty-wrap included in the kit, to prevent the cable from disconnecting.
NOTE: The Ty-wrap must be low enough to prevent interfering with
the manifold when re-assembling the analyzer.
4.
Route the Y-cable around connector J9 of the valve board and the
cable of valve L2.
