If a sensor cassette is attached, remove the sensor cassette when
prompted.

Press Continue to move past the waste line decontamination step if
desired.
Remove the cal pack as prompted and press Continue.
9.
Fill a syringe (with luer adaptor attached) with deionized water.

Attach the syringe to the cassette luer of the analyzer as shown in
Figure 8-2.

Be prepared to collect fluids exiting the cal pack manifold at the rear
of the analyzer.
12.
Press Cal1. This will activate internal valves and open a pathway
between the cassette luer and the Cal1 manifold luer.
13.
While the screen displays “Cal1 open”, GENTLY introduce deionized
water into the luer.
The Cal1 line will remain open for ten seconds.
Fluids will exit the Cal1 manifold luer at the rear of the analyzer
(see Figure 8-3).

Refill the syringe and repeat this flushing process with deionized
water one more time.
15.
Remove the syringe from the analyzer.
