There are three components of the ABL77 that become contaminated
with sample residue with use. These components are the sensor
cassette, the waste line and the waste pouch within the cal pack. The
sensor cassette and cal pack can be discarded as biohazardous waste.
5.
To decontaminate the waste line ensure there is a cal pack in place to
collect waste fluids. Introduce 1 cc of Cleaning Solution (REF: 943-
906) into the waste drain (the black opening located directly below the
inlet probe when a cassette is in place).
6.
Activate the waste pump by pressing Pump to carry this fluid
through the waste line and into the cal pack.
Press Continue.
7.
Introduce 1 cc of deionized water into the waste drain.
Press Pump to clear the fluid.
Press Continue.
8.
Remove the cal pack
Press Continue.
