BLM: Detection of
tube orientation
failed
The tube orientation sensor was
unable to detect a cap and is
hence unable to determine the
tube's orientation on the
transport.
Check the tube's position on the tube
transport. It might be tilted or jammed.
Check the sensor. Keep in mind that, once
the BLM's hood has been opened, the entire
area between the first and the second tube
orientation sensor needs to be cleared of all
Transfer turner

reach one of its
transfer turner did not complete
its turning motion and might be
blocked.
Search for obstacles or jammed tubes within
the unit's range of movement and remedy
the situation. Then press [Start] on the bulk
loader module's screen.
No tube inside the
turning unit
(BLM)
A tube has been transferred
from the bulk loader module's
conveyor belt onto the slide
towards the transfer turner but
did not reach the latter within
the allotted time.
In case the missing tube is located within the
input sorter, put it into the turning unit
manually. If remedying the error requires
you to open the bulk loader module's hood,
the entire area between the first and second
tube orientation sensor needs to be cleared
BLM: Failed to lift
tube onto the
upper conveyor
At the BLM's tube buffer, lifting
the foremost tube onto the
upper conveyor has repeatedly
failed (timeout: 15 seconds).
Check the lift's functionality and check
whether the buffer contains at least one
tube. Remove any obstacles e.g. canted
tubes. Keep in mind that, once the BLM's
safety cover has been opened, the entire area
between the first and the second tube
orientation sensor needs to be cleared of all
