Operator's Manual - Version 1.6 - 10/2015 2-53
If the system is programmed with more than one routine
work cycle then the required work cycle must be selected
before sample processing is started. The [Work cycle] button
is active i
f operations have not yet been started or the system
is in standby mode. When the button is pressed, a window is
displayed where the user can select the desired work cycle.
A clearly audible signal sounds if an error or malfunction
occurs that leads
to the workflow routine being interrupted.
The workflow remains halted until the cause has been
rectified. Press the [Buzzer off] button to permanently switch
off the warning sound.
This button is used to insert urgent (emergency) samples into
a runn
ing work cycle.
Place the sample(s) into the emergency sample drawer
(leftmost drawer, 1st rack, 1st position). Close the drawer and
press the [Emergency Samples] button. The system
immediately begins to sort these urgent samples. As soon as
all of the urg
ent samples have been sorted, the system
continues at the next position of the drawer that was
previously accessed.
This function allows to take out / exchange all racks within
the output sorter at once. A second message then appears
asking you to confirm the command. Only after confirmation
all of the drawers in the output sorter are opened and the
racks can be replaced. If the button is pressed by mistake, the
procedure can be aborted in the confirmation message
window. The sorting unit then continu
es the sorting
procedure at the next free position in the rack.
However, if the drawers have already been opened, the
process cannot be cancelled.
To complete the procedure replace or empty the racks on the
drawers and close them again. The racks will automatically be
regarded as empty. An additional confirmation is not
necessary.
