[Changing racks]
Each target rack displayed on the screen can be used as a
button for a rack change. In the upper right corner, it
contains a sequential digit (0
-9, a-z, ...
). This digit complies to
the work place order within the selected work cycle
(
'Reference Data' ▶ 'Work cycles'). To change a rack, press on
the rack symbol. The drawer opens and the rack can be
replaced. After that, it is automatically considered replaced
If the rack is linked across several drawers, pressing the rack
symbol will cause all related drawers to be opened.
When you did confirm the rack change, you
must swap the
corresponding rack with an empty one.

can be cancelled by pressing the same rack symbol again. The
opened drawer will then have to be closed again in order for
the sorting process to continue at the next available position
in the rack. If the drawer remains
opened, the system will halt
and signal an error.
2.7.6.2 Status field
The upper frame on the main menu is a status field. Here, various status information is
displayed. This information is also copied into log files and sorting lists.

2.7.6.3 Display of active work cycle
As soon as a work cycle is initiated, its name is displayed here. The work cycle remains active
until a different one is selected, the system is switched off and on again or a 'Clear Data'
command is initiated.

2.7.6.4 Positions
The current location of individual tubes are defined as 'positions'. On the screen, positions
are depicted as small squares.
There are positions at the following areas of the system:
• Input sorter
• Tube transport
• Output sorter
