7.3 Spare parts and repairs

Requirement
• The HMI device must be mounted correctly according to these operating instructions.
• Cleaning cloth
• Dishwashing liquid or foaming screen cleaning agent
Procedure
Proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the device or disable the touch screen using the "Clean screen" function in
taskbar.
If you use the "Clean screen" function, the touch screen is disabled for 15 seconds. If the
cleaning requires more time, activate the "Clean screen" function several times for the
entire cleaning period.
2. Spray detergents on the cleaning cloth and not directly on the device.
3. Clean the device with the cleaning cloth.
7.3 Spare parts and repairs
Repairs
Contact your Siemens representative (https://www.siemens.com/aspa). You can filter
according to competence, product and region.
Your contact person can tell you whether a product can be repaired and which modalities
apply for returning it.
Also contact your representative before returning your product if you need prioritized
handling for repair of the product, a cost estimate, a repair report or fact-finding report.
Your contact person can also give you information about possible spare part procurement.

Spare parts and accessories for the HMI device can be found in section "System components
and accessories (Page 25)".
7.4 Recycling and disposal
Due to the low levels of pollutants in the HMI devices described in these operating
instructions, they can be recycled.
Contact a certified disposal service company for electronic scrap for environmentally
sustainable recycling and disposal of your old devices and dispose of the device according to
the relevant regulations in your country.
