Adjustment and Verification

4 Check optical
plummet at 0,5m.
A. Set up the ground
mark to 0,5m and
focus to the ground
mark.
B. Align the inner circle
to the ground mark
by the footscrews in
face 1.
C. Turn the instrument
in face 2 and check
the position of the
inner circle.
D. If not in tolerance,
repeat item 3, but
adjust the plummet in
opposite direction to
the deviation in 0,5m.
E. Repeat item 3 to 4
until the tolerances at
1,5m and 0,5m are
fulfilled.
Tolerance:
<1mm
Use a box/tripod
underneath to shorten
the distance to the
ground mark.
0,5m±0,1m
(1,64ft±0,33ft)
Balance the
tolerances if
necessary.
