4. Using the Notification Level drop-down menu, select the notification level you
want to receive.
Selection Description
Inactive
No events are sent to the syslog server.
Critical
All critical events are sent to the syslog server.
+ Warning
Critical and warning events are sent to the syslog server.
+ Configuration
Critical, warning, and configuration events are sent to the syslog
server.
+ Information
All events are sent to the syslog server.
5. Enter an IPaddress for the Remote Logging Server.
6. Using the Remote Logging Port drop-down menu, select to use the Default port,
or to set a Custom port. The default port is 514.
7. If you selected Custom in Step 6, enter the port number.
8. Using the Transport Protocol drop-down menu, select either UDPor TCPas the
transport protocol.
9. Click Submit.
