7.3 Product Density
You can either measure product density, or refer to
the product density chart in Appendix C of your air
seeder tank operator's manual.
To determine the density of the applied product fill
the calibration pail full, level, and weigh (make
sure to subtract pail weight or tare scale before
weighing).
Use following formula to get actual product
density:
1. Calibration Pale Volume - 1.04 ft3 (for a
7000A/S)
2. Calibration Pale Volume - 1.00 ft3 (for a
6000A/S)
