2.7 Working With Global Home
Screens
Operation screens can be set up in many ways.
Once a screen is set up it can be saved as a home
screen for quick access in the future without
going through the process of opening and closing
multiple windows and panels.
The global home screens can be managed and
loaded using the buttons on the lower console
toolbar. Refer to
Section 2.2 - Console Toolbar.
2.7.1 Saving a Global Home Screen
Once the operational screen is set up to display
the desired information, press the Configure Home
Screens button so the "Manage Global Home
Screens" window appears.
1. Select the "Save Home Screen" icon. When
the keypad appears enter a screen name and
confirm.
2.7.2 Overwriting Home Screen
To set up an operational screen that displays the
required information:
1. Press the Configure Home Screens button so
the "Manage Global Home Screens" window
appears.
2. Select the panel of the home screen you would
like to overwrite, by touching
it.
3. A window with a question
if you want to overwrite
the global home screen will
appear.
a. Select yes to overwrite
the screen;
b. a keypad will appear;
c. if desired enter new
name for that screen, or
select OK to keep the
previously given name.
2.7.3 Managing Screens
To manage the screens, press the Configure Home
Screens button so the "Manage Global Home
Screens" window appears.
On the panel of the screen that you would like
to delete, activate or deactivate the select home
screen setting button.
1. A
window with options to change the status of
the home screen or to delete it will appear.
a. Active - screen is active and can be
loaded. The colour of the home symbol
on the home screen setting button will be
green.
b. Inactive - the screen is not active (not
available to be selected and loaded). The
colour of the home symbol on the home
screen setting button will be red.
c. Delete - allows you to delete the screen. A
confirmation question asking if you would
like to delete the selected home screen will
appear. By selecting yes, will delete the
screen.
