X35 Console General Operations
8.35
b. Set the Control Mode for each boom.
Refer to Figure 8.64.
i. Drag the slider from 0 to 100.
ii. Or select the button and enter a
value from 0-100.
100 - would ensure that all areas of the field
will be seeded. It will keep boom/sections
ON and it will ensure you have no misses.
0 - would avoid overlap, when it is detected
that a boom/section is encroaching a
previously covered area. It will shut OFF
before any part of the implement starts
to overlap, or turn ON after the entire
implement has exited previously covered
area.
50 - would shut OFF once half the implement
is overlapping and turn ON once half the
implement has exited previously covered
area.
Note
The SEED boom can be set closer to 100 to have
full coverage and avoid any misses with the seed
products and the FERT boom can be set lower
to limit the amount of overlap with the fertilizer
products if desired.
Recommend not setting this at 100 for any booms
or it will turn on for even the smallest misses in
the field.
c. Toggle ASC ON or OFF for individual
booms.
i. Press the button to enable or disable
ASC for individual booms if desired.
ASC will still be applied for other
enabled booms.
