Spectrum B Stimulus and
Functional (Optional)
Introduction
This chapter provide describes how to test on a network
running Spectrum B Stimulus or Spectrum B Functional using
AuroraPlus. These features are supplied as an optional feature
with
AuroraPlus.
SPIDS (Service Profile Identifier)
Spectrum Functional and Spectrum Stimulus both use SPIDS.
The Service Profile of a BRI service is a record in a data base
that the switch uses to determine how to serve a specific
customer and how to handle specific commands and requests
(such as feature keys) from a piece of Customer Premises
Equipment.
When the
AuroraPlus initializes, it sends a message to the
switch with the SPIDs for the line.

Spectrum B Functional supports the following bearer and
teleservices:
