Sources of Danger at Labeler
Fig.: 2-1: Sources of Danger at Labeler
The rollers of the unit that brings the objects forward rotate in the opposite direction so
that objects may be detected and may be pulled between the rollers. A protective plate
here protects the user from injuries. The rewinder is motor-powered. Objects may be de-
tected. There is the danger of being crushed between rewinder table and cabinet. The
power is limited to less than 50 N by a round belt and protects the user from injuries.
There exists the danger of crushing at the bracket of the peeler blade when the peeler bar
swings out. A protective plate protects the user from injuries. In the area of the peeler
blade, there may also arise a danger of being crushed by the customer’s product feed.
Depending on the conveying system and the fed products there may be protective
measures by customer necessary.
