AVERAGE SPEED
Acceleration (start ramp) and delay (stop ramp) of label feed speed are generally linear.
The average speed results from acceleration, period of feed and delay. Let`s assume that
a 500 mm long label with a gap of 3 mm should be applied at a feed speed of 64 m/min, it
corresponds to an average of 45m/min (because the ramps take a formidable part of the
label`s total length).
The start-/stop-ramps can be adjusted in 4 stages by the parameter 04 LABEL OPTIONS
(LABEL OPTIONS).
At really smoothly adjusted acceleration (start ramp) and delay (stop ramp), the ad-
justed feed speed cannot be achieved, particularly with short labels.
If a shaft encoder should be used, the parameter 04 LABEL OPTIONS (LABEL OP-
TIONS) has to be adjusted to +64.

Clock rates of the 3 power supply version can be taken from the performance calculator.
