Label Calibration

The Alpha Compact provides a function to calibrate labels. This function enables the labe-
ler to detect the label length and the position to the peeler bar. After the calibration, the la-
bel is located flush with the peeler bar. For most applications, this is the correct label posi-
tion.
If a different label position is required, it can be adjusted with the potentiometer [Adjust]
when connecting the HMI Panel (in standard configuration) s page 79. If a HMI Display is
connected to the labeler, in functions menu [002 LABEL POS.] the label position can be
adjusted.
Requirements
Labels are loaded.
Product supply is stopped.
Labeler is connected with supply voltage.
Instruction
Please calibrate the labels via control panel as follows.
Step Vorgehen
Danger of drawing in by rotating elements.

Push the [Cal] button. The labeler performs 3 applying cycles for the calibra-
tion. Afterwards the leading edge of the label is flush to the peeler bar.
