Safety Instructions
Danger caused by direct or indirect contact with live parts.
DANGER TO LIFE!
Contact of persons with live parts.
Before performing any work on electrical equipment of the la-
beler, separate from power source.
Work on electrical equipment of the labeler may only be carried
out by electricians.
The electrical equipment of the labeler has to be checked regu-
larly. Damages have to be repaired professionally and imme-
diately.
Incorrect and faulty connected control units can cause fail-
ures/damages and lack of safety.
To avoid static electricity, ground the labeling system.
Danger caused by highly combustible label material.
FIRE DANGER!
Label web is highly combustible. Risk of injury by fire and smoke.
Keep clear from naked flame and source of ignition.
Danger caused by actively triggered movements.
DANGER OF DRAWING IN!
Rotating elements at the labeler, rewinder, web brake and rollers
of the friction unit.
Do not grip in, at or between the moving parts.
Danger from moved products.
DANGER OF BEING CRUSHED!
At *²pivoted peeler blades the passing products push away
the peeler blade. Thus the distance between deflection roller
and bracket of peeler blade is decreased. Objects may then
be crushed.
At *²fixed mounted peeler blade, objects may be crushed
between product and peeler bar.
When using an *²applicator, objects may be crushed during
extension and retraction movement or swinging movement
between tamp or peeler bar.
Maintain a distance from *²peeler blade, bracket of peeler
blade, *²tamp pad and the products.
