Failure Reset
By pushing [Start] or [Stop] button the current error messages are reset assuming that the
reason for the error was corrected.
Indication of Firmware Version
Here the current firmware-version (Firmware = operating system) of the controller is indi-
cated (firmware-history on page 113).
Current Configuration Dataset
The Alpha Compact offers the opportunity to store up to 4 different sets of parameters.
Each dataset can be used for an individual parameterization of the labeler (e.g. for differ-
ent production conditions).
Label Counter
The 5-digit figure shows the number of the completely performed applying cycles during
an operating phase. The counter is reset automatically to "00000" after switching on the
labeler. If a 4-digit negative figure is shown, the counter will work in "countdown" mode.
Status Line
The status line informs you about the current status of the labeler and its activities.
If a 3-digit “information figure” is indicated on the right side of the status line, it will give
you additional information and will be explained in detail in the chapter troubleshooting.
STAND-BY Mode
The message "Stand-by" is indicated after a manual interruption of the labeling operation
by pushing the [Stop]-button. A menu of the labeler`s controller can only be selected
based on stand-by-mode. (The control-LED GREEN is off and RED flashes)
Standard labelers that are supplied ex-stock are preset in English menu language. In
function menu by LCD –SETTING (DISPLAY SETTING) see p. 87 the menu language
can be changed to e.g. German.
