Connecting the Labeler
Safety Instructions
Danger of drawing in by rotating elements.
DANGER OF DRAWING IN
Rotating elements at the labeler, rewinder, web brake and rollers
of the friction unit.
When working on the labeling system, disconnect from power
supply.
Keep away from moving parts.
Danger of property damage
The Alpha Compact can be connected to 100V up to 240V /
47-63 Hz. A false adjustment of the input-voltage leads to a
damage of the system and is no case of warranty!
Danger of Failures
A false configured input leads to failures of the sensor but
not to a damage of the controller.
Engine (motor) and controller have to be grounded. (ground-
ing screw next to motor plug). Short time overloads influence
the internal direct-current voltage in a negative way and
should be avoided.
Connection to Supply Voltage
The Labeler needs electricity for its functions. Please find more details in the chapter
“Technical Data”.
Requirements
Power supply according to "Technical Data" is installed close (max. 1,5 m away)
to the labeling site.
Power voltage cable and net connection cable (s. in the accessory carton”)
Instruction
Please connect the labeler with supply voltage as follows.
Step Procedure
1
Plug the power voltage cable of the system.
2
Connect the power voltage cable with supply voltage (standard 230 Volt sock-
et).
