Basic Configuration
• CallbackAttempts: The number of times that the TSM/RSM will attempt to contact
the Callback number. (Default = 3 attempts)
• CallbackDelay: The amount of time that the TSM/RSM will wait between Callback
attempts. (Default = 30 seconds)
Notes:
• AfterconfiguringandenablingCallbackSecurity,youmustthendefinea
callbackphonenumberforeachdesireduseraccount(asdescribedin
Section5.5)inorderforthisfeaturetofunctionproperly.
• Whenusingthe"On-Callback(WithPasswordPrompt)"option,itis
importanttorememberthataccountsthatdonotincludeacallbacknumber
willbeallowedtoaccesscommandmodewithoutcallbackverification.
5.3.5. Scripting Options
The Scripting Options submenu provides access to parameters that are used to set up
the TSM/RSM unit for running various scripts.
Notes:
• ToaccessScriptingOptionsparametersviatheTextInterface,firsttype/F
andpress[Enter]todisplaytheSystemParametersMenu,thenkeyinthe
numberfortheScriptingOptionsitemandpress[Enter].
• ToaccesstheScriptingOptionsparametersviatheWebBrowserInterface,
placethecursoroverthe"GeneralParameters"link,waitfortheflyoutmenu
toappear,thenclickonthe"ScriptingOptions"link.
The Scripting Options menu allows the following parameters to be defined:
• CommandConfirmation: (RSM-8R8 Series Units Only) When enabled, a "Sure"
prompt will be displayed before power switching and reboot commands are
executed. When disabled, commands will be executed without further prompting.
(Default = On)
• AutomatedMode: (RSM-8R8 Series Units Only) When enabled, the TSM/RSM will
execute switching and reboot commands without displaying a confirmation prompt,
status screen or confirmation messages. For more information, please refer to
Section 5.3.5. (Default = Off)
Note:WhentheAutomatedModeisenabled,securityfunctionsare
suppressed,andusersareabletoaccessconfigurationmenusand
controlplugswithoutenteringapassword.Ifsecurityisaconcernandthe
AutomatedModeisrequired,itisrecommendedtousetheIPSecurityfeature
(Section5.9.3)torestrictaccess.
• CommandPrompt: Allows the Text Interface command prompt to be set to either
IPS, RSM or TSM. (Default for TSM Series units = TSM; Default for RSM Series
units = RSM)
