Chapter 1 System Description
• HGB Diluent syringe — delivers a specific volume of Diluent to
transport the blood from the shear valve to the HGB mixing
chamber
• HGB Lyse syringe — dispenses a specific volume of Hemoglobin
Lyse into the HGB Mixing chamber at the same time as the diluted
sample is dispensed into the HGB Mixing chamber
• WBC Sheath syringe — delivers a specific volume of Sheath
reagent to transport the blood from the shear valve to the WBC
Mixing chamber
• WBC Metering syringe — injects a specific volume of the WBC
dilution into the WBC flow cell
Waste Chambers
The waste chambers collect the waste liquid from the Analyzer flow
panel.
