Lesson 7 – Executing the DAC Distortion Test
284
Coherent Reconstruction of a Captured Sinewave
NOTE
When the Mixed-Signal Tool panel has been set up to display only one
waveform, two markers are available which can be used to perform
precise measurements.
Calculation of Harmonics
The HARMONICS function can be used to calculate the harmonic
distortion and intermodulation frequencies from given
fundamental frequencies. The calculated harmonics can be overlaid
onto the spectrum that is currently displayed. This function
supports the distinction between harmonic and disharmonic
distortions (random noise).
After clicking the H
ARMONICS button, the Harmonics window pops
up.
