NOTE:_________________________________
Substitute the air lter element every 12,000 km. If the ve-
hicle is used in particularly humid climates or in very dusty
areas, the air lter must be substituted more often.
Check:
Substitute the air lter element if it is damaged. If it is not dam-
aged wash it:
• Wash the lter element with speci c solvents produced for
that use.
Leave it to dry in the open air.
Apply a speci c oil over all surfaces of the lter element.
NOTE:_________________________________
Before installing the lter element into the air box, remove
any excess oil and making sure that there are no more drips
of oil.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Never switch on the engine if the ait lter is not installed.
The un ltered air causes a quick wear of the engine parts
and might damage the engine. Furthermore, using the en-
gine without air lter, setting of the throttle bodies is affect-
ed, causing a worsening of engine performance, as well as
its overheating.
Therefore ensure that the air lter is always in a good con-
dition.
The long life durability of the engine greatly depends on this
component.
