An incompatible Printhead has been installed. Install a Printhead specied for use with the printer .

Open the T op Cover . If the Carriage is over the
Platen , replace the Printhead with a new one.

There is a problem with the Printhead .
If, after opening the T op Cover , you see that the
Carriage is not over the Platen , follow the steps
below .
1. Close the T op Cover and press the Online button.
2. Replace the Printhead .

Execute printhead cleaning.
Cause Corrective Action
The Printhead nozzles are clogged. Follow these steps to clean the Printhead .
1. Hold down the Stop button for a second or more
to cancel printing.
2. Printhead cleaning options.

If this message is still displayed, replace the
Printhead .
