INTRODUCTION
This section describes the three blood tests:
1. Blood Volume (Cr51)
2. Blood Volume (I 125)
3. RBC Survival (Cr51)
To access the Blood Test section of the program, press the F2 [BLOOD] key in the Main Lab
Tests screen.
Figure 16-1 will appear.

This protocol may used in the determination of Red Blood Cell Volume.
From the Main Blood Tests Screen (
Figure 16-1), press 1 to select BLOOD VOLUME (Cr51).
If patient demographics have not yet been input, do so according to the directions in
CHAPTER 14: LAB TESTS: SETUP.
Press the F4 [MEAS] key after the patient demographics are entered. The RBC Volume
Measurement Screen (
Figure 16-2) will appear.
