MEASURING THE NECK AND THIGH
The main part of the Thyroid Uptake Study is measuring the patient’s neck and thigh. This is
the same for all Calculation Methods.
The measurement begins by prompting the user to measure the neck at the distance
previously chosen as shown in
Figure 8-13.
