600 is equipped with a general-purpose Multichannel Analyzer (MCA). The
features of the MCA include:
• Optional Automatic Background Subtract
• Total/Net Reporting
• Automatic Peak Search
• Pre-Set Regions of Interest and Regions of Interest selected from Spectrum
• Selectable Vertical Scale
• Four Gain Ranges
• Selectable Low Level Cutoff Channel
• Selectable Count Times
• Storage of Frequently Used Setups for MCA Measurements
MCA SETUPS
Four MCA Setups can be stored in the CAPTUS
®
600.
To add, edit, or delete a MCA Setup, press the HOME key and then the UTIL key. The main
Utilities menu (
Figure 18-1) will appear.
