Select the desired Standard by moving the cursor next to the name of the Standard and
press the ENTER key.
If the Standard nuclide is not the same as the protocol nuclide, an error message will appear
and you will be able to select again.
The Data Screen for the Standard (
Figure 11-11) will appear.

If the data is OK, press Y. Otherwise, press N and select another Standard.
PRE-DOSE MEASUREMENT
If the protocol indicates that a Pre-Dose Measurement is to be performed, the measurements
must be made after the protocol and Standard are chosen and before the “administered”
data is entered. There is only one chance to measure Pre-Dose. If “SKIP” is chosen, there
will not be another chance to measure Pre-Dose.
Reference CHAPTER 8: THYROID UPTAKE: GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS for performing
Pre-Dose Measurement.
If BSP is pressed from the Pre-Dose Measurement Screen, the TU Patient Selection Screen
will re-appear.
ENTERING ADMINISTERED DOSE
The Administered Data Screen (Figure 11-12) will appear. (If you do not yet know the
administered data, press BSP or HOME when this screen appears).
