2.7 DIRECT USB VIRTUAL COM
1663 supports “ Direct” USB Virtual COM int erface for m em ory m ode. Use the provided
USB cable t o connect 1663 t o the USB port of PC. You m ay run HyperTerm inal.exe on a
com puter t o view and capt ure t he scanned data being transm itt ed to t he com puter. Refer
to
1.2.2 Mem ory Mode.
2.7.1 ACTIVATE USB VIRTUAL COM

2.7.3 INTER-FUNCTION DELAY
By default, the int er- funct ion delay is set t o zero. Specify a value, ranging from 0 t o 254
in unit s of m illiseconds, t o m atch the com puter response tim e of t he keyboard interface.
Such delay t im e is insert ed bet ween every funct ion code (0x01 ~ 0x1F) being
transm it t ed. The longer the delay t ime is, t he slower the transm ission speed will be.
