SPP MASTER
As a SPP m aster device, the scanner will be able t o resum e connection wit h t he host
upon powering on again, as long as the host applicat ion is running. I f the scanner fails to
resum e connect ion, it will try every 5 seconds to re- connect to t he host unless you read
the Reset Connect ion or Restore Syst em Defaults” barcode.

Not e: I n SPP Master Mode, scanner has to connect within the specified period of tim e ( 2

How to connect with the target device?
Produce two set up barcodes for t he target SPP slave device, just like what we do for 3610.
Set Connect ion
MAC I D
Not e: The MAC I D barcode m ust have a prefix of two characters, either 0x or 0X” ,
followed by the real MAC address of the t arget device.
Usage:
1) Read the Activat e Bluet ooth
®
SPP, Mast er Mode barcode above and barcodes for connect ion
set t ings, such as authenticat ion and preset PI N. Skip this step if no connection sett ings are
desired.
2) Read t he Set Connect ion and MAC I D barcodes. The scanner will respond with one beep
upon reading each of the barcodes.
