DEFAULT SETTINGS
SAVE USER SETTINGS AS DEFAULTS
For the scanner to keep the cust om ized sett ings as user defaults, you m ust read t he
Save as User Defaults barcode. This is a norm al set up barcode, and the scanner will
respond wit h t wo beeps ( low- high tone) .
After reading t he Update barcode, the current sett ings will be saved as user
default s.

RESTORE USER DEFAULTS
For the scanner to restore the user defaults, which you have saved earlier, you m ust
read t he Rest ore User Defaults” barcode. This is a norm al set up barcode, and t he
scanner will respond wit h two beeps (low-high tone) .
After reading t he Update barcode, all the param et ers of the scanner will ret urn t o
their custom ized values.

RESTORE SYSTEM DEFAULTS
For the scanner t o rest ore the fact ory defaults, read the Restore System Defaults
barcode. This is a norm al set up barcode, and the scanner will respond with two beeps
(low- high tone). After reading t he Update barcode, all the param et ers of the scanner
will ret urn to their default values. The current connection record will be cleared as well.
