Host Serial Commands
For the scanner t o read the serial num ber and beep -

Not e: ( 1) For USB Virtual COM, only configure the first scanner that connects to 3610.
To ident ify the scanner, send the serial command to have it respond with a beep.

SPP, you can configure up to seven scanners at the sam e tim e.
3610 SETUP BARCODES & SERIAL COMMANDS
Norm ally, configure the 3610 dongle by having a connected scanner read 3610- relat ed
setup barcodes.
1) Connect 3610 to the USB port of PC. You will need to install it s driver first !
2) Refer to
3.1.1 Connect to 3610 for t he t arget scanner to connect to 3610.
Read t he Set Connect ion barcode first , and then the Serial Num ber barcod. Both
barcode labels can be located at the back of 3610.
3) Read t he following barcodes in sequence to configure 3610.

the Version and Get I D barcodes, you m ust run HyperTerm inal.exe or any text edit or
to receive or view the inform ation.
I f the out put interface is USB Virtual COM, run HyperTerm inal.ex e on t he host
com puter t o receive t he inform ation.
I f the output interface is USB HI D, run any text editor t o receive the inform ation.
